It's pretty tough to make accurate throws when you're running for your life on almost every play. That said, Jake was way off his game today. But Loggains is right, benching him is not a productive thing to do and certainly won't help his development or confidence. We have to let him play through some of this.

Does sucking balls for all 4 quarters help his confidence either?

There is no way to gather confidence from that kind of trouncing.

Not every QB is RG3, Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson. Are we only giving guys about 10-15 games before we move on now? Jake Locker is not supposed to win any games when he has the worst OL, Coaching Staff and Defense in the league.

If those 10-15 games are fairly pathetic, then sure. He's done nothing besides being drafted high that makes him worthy of owning an unchallenged #1 qb spot.

As u can see from around the fanbase, jake doesn't inspire much hope or confidence. This is the first season I don't even want to turn on games. Every other year I'd be chomping at the bit to get to Nashville to watch. And, how I feel about locker.. I feel about just about every other player on the team. Come to think of it... They all can go.

Its like a rookie SP in baseball, if hes destined to be ay good he gets hot a little, then its followed by a long, icy, cold streak whre eveyone loses faith in him. at that point, its up to the coachinng staff and the player to not give up on himself.

NFL seasons are far shorter than baseball seasons, but the samethings generally happen for QBs in the nfl that ive seen.
BBut take that as my perspective. Anyway, Locker has played 8 games+ 2 attempts., and those games were on both sides of a two month interval. Im willing to give him most of next season till i give up.

    im a patient guy

Jake will succeed around the time Vince struggled. So give the kid time. I was not happy with what I saw yesterday tho. Hell, Wilson, Rodgers, and Luck have been making what Locker is doing seem all wrong. Maybe hes hurt cause he was playing like hes been talking to Griffin.

I don't mind giving him time, but lets call a spade a spade. I get tired of hearing everyone else get blame on here when the team had absolute zero chance of winning yesterday with Jake Locker.

The Packers started 3 possessions on the Tennessee side of the field in the FIRST quarter. That doesn't count when they started on their own 42.

Thing about that is, jake didnt lose any gains by his lonesome. He has his coaches and several key players that are either injured or just scrubs in general.

Dude jake was 3-10 with 2 INT. The whole "team effort" idea is lost when the dude can't complete a damn pass. I understand he's not in a great spot. But Christ show us something.....anything? He's terrible in nearly every facet.

not his best day for sure and even his attempts too break free of the pocket were less than stellar. Still dont help any when refs call grounding when :cj: was right there. Thompson 'catch' should have went his way too...

But yeah not JLs best day as a Titan.

I hope all the OL can at least find their way around the facilities this sunday
