Tickets are not the issue, they are always going to be sold out.

As much as I hate to say it, but Pitt and Chicago making it look like home games did us some good. We had too much black and gold on a prime time game, I am sure Bud was embarrassed. Today, Wyatt said Chicago had more fans than Pitt did, I can only imagine what that looked like.

Say what you will, but Bud takes pride in his team, he does not want to see anything but baby blue out there.

I keep looking for the positives, but it really is hard to find any at all. Locker was supposed to be learning and maturing this season, but this shoulder injury bs keeping him out is preventing that. So we resort to using a washed up reject from Seattle as our starter for the season, who continues to throw in front of the sticks and not use our best playmaker at tight end in Cook. Chris Johnson shows flashes of his old self every now and then against the crappy defenses, but for the most part he still dances around too much. Our offensive line can't stop getting penalties and keeps getting older.

The defense, well there's not much to say really. It's hard to watch the guys up front get demolished by superior teams then our LBs can't cover anyone, and God forbid we have to rely on Griffin to make a tackle. We can't ever get to the opposing quarterback for a sack, McCourty and McCarthy drop the INTs that hit them in the hands and chest, and I don't even know who the other safety is other than Griffin most of the time because that position hasn't done **** this year anyway.

Bironas is shaky, and our punter plays great when he has the protection. So all in all our best player is the punter.

Our "coaches" are just laughable. Munchak was a great oline coach, so I hope we can retain him in that role if he does get let go. But Palmer and Gray need to get the hell out of TN.

In light of the news today, it felt fitting to bump this thread.

And I say again, mediocrity would be an upgrade.

*accused rapist. Totally different from Ruthlessraper. Kobe just had sex with a white girl... the end.

And I was a Lakers fan when they had NVE and were losing by 50. Boom.

Yeah I guess offering Peyton Manning the highest contract offer and ownership in the team is settling for mediocrity.

I'm sure Bud bought this team 1000 years ago thinking, "I hope I never win a Superbowl"

    :crazy::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Someone mentioned ealier in this thread that we can count on an 8-8 year in 2013. I don't think so. Listening to 104.5 radio, they announced next years opponents, we will be lucky to match this record next year.
I believe we have the players but, without quality coaches, this is just another Fisher team.
The Volunteers learned this lesson, only ashame our FO hasn't figured it out.

Our offer to Peyton is hearsay.

    And an anomaly if true.

The idea that any franchise is content to be mediocre is ridiculous.

A franchise cannot be content with mediocrity.

They can be inept enough to be stuck in it or have some incredible bad luck but no NFL franchise who's main purpose is to make money is satisfied with mediocrity.

I'm sure Bud is sitting around saying "why win more and generate even more revenue? I'm good"

    Dumb thread is dumb.
