I told you people Matt Flynn would screw us out of someone we wanted.

I think since we signed Levitre, there is no chance in hell that we draft Warmack at #10. What kind of sense would that make? Both are LGs with almost no experience at RG. Taking a OG at #10 is bold. Taking one that plays the same position as a free agent you just spend a crapload of money on is plain dumb.

I really don't care if it's dumb money wise. Picking up a Chance or Cooper improves the football team on the field.

Not as much as you would think.

During our 2009 season our two starting guards were Jake Scott and Eugene Amano. Chris Johnson ran 2006 yards during that season and our line was pretty good in pass protection as well. We all know that Scott and Amano suck, but still our O-Line was pretty really good.
All I am saying is that you do not need the best OG to have success. Let's not overvalue the position.

Hmmm, this is a fair point. If we opt not to take one of these G's I hope you're right.

I didn't follow any team really during this offseason. But I do remember seeing an article or mock somewhere saying that the Bills lost both their starting G's, AS WELL as their top back-up for that position. So if that's true and they didn't sign anyone after that, I def see them taking an G in the first. I'm hoping they like Coop more b/c of his versatility, so we get the chance for Warmack...

They actually played well those years though, I remember. Also, Mawae was HUGE for us... Sure he was a dirty player, but he was damn effective and didn't get called on a lot of things.

A top class C, with top class T's, and up years from the G positions is why that line was good for CJ...

It would be a good pick with either Warmak or Cooper. With the poor offensive line play the past two seasons. At least the off season moves and drafting one of them that would be one part of the offense that would be a major up grade.

I cannot see Buffalo selecting Geno but then again it's Buffalo and if anyone's going to screw up the pick, besides Cleveland or Oakland it would be Buffalo. Plus I am hearing rumblings of Warmack falling in favor of Cooper now so who knows - it's the Draft ... stock changes nearly daily and we still have over 3 weeks or so.

So you're saying that there is a "Fat" Chance we'll land him?

Fine with me I'd much rather have Cooper.
