    Titans2008...

Why does an organizations past matter? He has been coaching the team for 4 years now. This is his team now and carson palmer wasn't part of that old organization. The fact the bengals were so bad for so long plays into the psychology of why people think he's done a good job but really shouldn't matter. Now after 4 years he is going to have to succeed and someone else's failures shouldn't matter in evaluating how he is doing his job.

I don't think marvin lewis got anymore out of his team than romeo crennel got from the browns last year and they were 4-12. Imagine if crennel had palmer and it was frye QBing the bengals.

    Good point crash..

Rudi's workload has been similar to what fisher did to eddie. We have to wonder how long he can keep it up and the bengals apparently have their doubts because they just drafted irons. Rudi has lugged the ball an average of 346 times in the last 3 years.

The bengals in lewis' tenure have finished 12th, 12th, 12th and 16th respectively in pass attempts. No question there is something wrong. Why in the hell would a team with that QB and those Wrs only finish 16th in pass attempts? Tony dungy is a pretty darn conservative coach but he is smart enough to know which side of his bread is buttered.

The bengals should have an offense similar to what the saints had last year. The saints were a passing team(5th in attempts) but still had the power running attack inside.
