Yea with all the TV networks drooling over the NFL this was bound to happen.

I dont hate the idea, but it does dilute the playoffs a little. Some of those wildcard teams are already painful to watch.

Yea possibly. but we may also see 34 teams, so that wouldn't be so bad, 18/34

I am all for this. More playoffs=more revenue, and more chances for the Titans to FINALLY make it back in. It is good for everyone except for a few whiny fans. It won't hurt anything, but it will help a lot of franchises tremendously.

if you have to play up to 28 playoff games to win a Stanley cup, it won't kill a team to have to play up to 1 extra game in the NFL playoffs.

They have been pushing it for years. Just want more money. Many of these owners are speculators. They make money not just through revenue but also by the value of their franchise going up. For the franchise to go up in value there needs to be growth in revenue.

If there would have been a 14 team playoff the past few years, then there are a couple of times that the Titans would've gotten in. We've seen that anything can happen in the playoffs ... so maybe the Titans go on a role and win the SB???

YES to more teams in POs

When more than half the teams are in the playoffs it is just flat out stupid. Leave that sh*t for elementary school. Playoffs are meant for the best of the best.

I could live with 14 teams, but no more than that.

14 is the absolute maximum before it would just get too ridiculous. It will mean that there will be sub .500 teams in the playoffs pretty often, so be ready for that.

Yea I like the idea the NFL playoffs are exclusive. Right now only 1/3 teams gets to go, when you have close to half the total teams making it, its no longer that special.
