1st game thoughts (non-QB)

Defense look terrible again I do like the the safety though.

I don't think its gonna get any better not even a with game planing.

 

The CBs played like last year-the closest fans in football. It'd be nice if they tackled or put their hands up while running alongside the WR.
I'm gonna give Lebeau time to fix that.
It's so common I wonder if they're terrified of some rule they have about PIs within the team or something odd like that. It just looks weird the way they all do it.
I don't like Bleeding and I'm almost done with McCourty.
I'd be more happy if they move Coty and Huff to CB with Cox and Riggs' son. At least I know the effort will be there and there's some ability.

Still though, this is what I wanted. Mess up, Lebeau corrects it, improvement. I gotta be patient I suppose.

 

Little late to the party here but wanted to re-watch the game to really know what went on. In order of most impressive/worst

The Good:
Orakpo won every snap he played, that guy will make us so much better all around. Only thing he messed up was after shedding a TE and the FB off of him, he let the RB escape for a few yards. However, seeing him get passed one/two blockers regularly after having a messed up shoulder last year was very nice, people were concerned he couldn't hold up and would re-injure it..

Antonio Andrews has turned out to be a gem, write this down; Andrews should be our starter. The o-line can do no one any favors, for the Titans to sustain drives they need to have a run game, Sankey is a good player but he can't make his own yards, just not that kind of RB, Andrews is tho... He's also a beast blocking in pass pro.

Harry Douglas is legit, already knew that coming over from Atlanta, but glad he showed up for everyone to see for themselves.

The Bad:
Byrone Bell is a 6'5" pile of trash, he needs to be cut today. His man regularly beat him and made the tackle.

Chance Warmack was equally as bad to watch as Bell.

Perish Cox needs to do himself a favor and burn the #29 jersey and start fresh next game, that jersey can do no good. Cox looked like BWW/Nick Harper.

Craig Stevens seems to have lost his ability to block, looks soft as pudding out there.

Then theres Andy Levitre, he was bad most the game, but when it mattered he handled his business to spring McCluster for a TD.

Was hoping to see more from Zach Brown, Im not ready to label him anything, but he missed some plays out there.. In related news we may have better OLB depth than I thought, so we'll see.

 

Sankey has the talent, it'll show if he can get some help from his blockers, Andrews is my favorite for the job because of his style and ability to hide how bad our O-Line is, if he stays in to block I feel a lot better about the play coming together, and if he gets the ball I love his chances to advance it for positive yards.

We're long overdue one of these gifts from the football Goods, not since Cortland Finnegan have we had luck with undrafted guys, now we have one whos a possible starter at RB.

 

I thought finny was drafted in the 7th round ... not like it is much different.

We should've had luck with Blount as a UDFA, except Fisher is an idiot

 

Oh yea he was, damn then who have we gotten lucky with that wasn't drafted?

 

We wore white jerseys...AGAIN.
