for DT or DE?

i personally dont think he fits the bill for what we need in a DE.

and y is that?

because he's 305 lbs and i dont think he will provide an effective edge rush. put him at DT, and i'll change my tune.

Carriker is a perfect fit for a de in a 3-4 defense.

Tunes are about to change. Carriker ran a 4.73 and 4.72 today at Nebraska's pro day. And that's at 291 pounds. I'd take him I do believe, but it depends on how the board looks. There's some other guys I'd be hard pressed to ignore. The usual suspects, you know. But Carriker would be a very nice addition. Speed AND the strength to bowl you over. You saw him at the Senior Bowl. He and Okoye really had the pressure on.
