How was it "proven" Minnesota wanted a guy they didn't pick?
We are now past the 27th pick and Dalton, Kaepernick, and Ryan Mallett are all still available and it doesn't take a crystal ball to know at least 2 of those would have still been available.
Can you seriously say that you would rather have Jake Locker then one of those players AND a 2nd and 4th round pick this year, AND a 1st and 4th next year?
Because Minnesota said to a espn representative that they want jake at 10
Julio is elite and he will prove you wrong.
Come on Da'Quan Bowers, please keep falling
Have mixed feelings on the Locker pick. I wasn't overly impressed with the QB class this year, I was really hoping for defense first round but at the rate that QBs went in the 1st I guess its a good thing we pulled the trigger when we did. I like Locker a lot more than Ponder, Kaepernick and Dalton. Anyway, welcome to the team Jake. Im glad we can finally put the VY debate to sleep. Very excited to see what Locker will bring us.
I have to say the most surprising pick was Gabbert to Jacksonville.
I like Locker. I really do.
I'm just very uneasy about the accuracy. Some pretty scary videos and breakdowns out there, particularly Lombardi's take.
Y E S ! ! ! ! !In a heart beat I would
HAHA, how was that proven? Maybe they liked Ponder better? That whole pot of Locker/Ponder/Dalton/Kaepernick/Mallett people had ranked in all different orders. What is to say Minnesota didn't want Ponder from the get go?
The only thing that was proven was that Munchak and the Titans wanted Locker more then any QB except Cam and they felt they had to pick him at 8. They better be right with their decision or they will all be looking for jobs in 3-4 years.
I think we should get Mallett in the 2nd round also
I get you on that. I wanted Nick Fairely with the 1st and Ryan Mallett with the 2nd.
