Exactly! He's just not a great football player so what? There have been many great athletes that are just not good football players. I don't think he'll go before the 20th pick, know why, because scouts watch tape! And he won't be a Titan despite his combine. He won the underwear Olympics and didn't stand out on Memphis for gods sake. "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane".
Not sure where this talk about Poe having a poor work ethic and motor is coming from. Every scouting report I've read says he has a KVB type motor. One said he reminded them of Haynesworth except he had an incredible work ethic. I do have Brockers ahead of him though. Was he available in our GM draft? I can't remember. I think I'd prefer him to Poe.
quick question; If and big IF we land Peyton would that change the direction we draft and go after a WR? thoughts?
I really don't think so. We seem to be going hard after offense in FA, so I feel the draft will be almost pure D. Also, the front office has said numerous times they feel very comfortable with the receivers we have now.
