2012 NFL Draft Coverage Thread: Rounds 2-3

Giants just took CB Jayron Hosley.. A good CB talent..

And they'll still suck. So what? Who cares? We passed on both. Like 3 times.

So the 3rd round is over..

We pick 20th in the 4th round tomorrow (115th overall)..

Still some talent out there at positions of need..

In bold are players who paid pre-draft visits to us..

C: Ben Jones, David Molk, Phillip Blake, Michael Brewster, Gino Gradkowski..
I guess guys like Quentin Saulsberry & Garth Gerhart can be considered wild cards here..

DE: Jared Crick, Cam Johnson, Trevor Guyton & Tim Fugger

DB: Brandon Boykin, Josh Norman, Leonard Johnson & Alfonso Dennard..

Four good centers still on the board. It's like the front office knows what they're doing. Go figure...

Seriously, I'm glad they've waited this long.. And I won't be upset if they wait til the 5th even.. No way those top 4 C's go in round 4 tomorrow..

If we can go C and CB in the 4th or 5th, i will be ok with this draft. Need depth at corner, and would let us move Amano back to guard, where he is pretty decent or good, cant remember.

I have always been a believer that you can get a center in the late rounds.

Molk will be available way late because he can't stay healthy. Brewster needs to get stronger, so I don't see him as a day one starter. I don't know much about Philip Blake.

Ben Jones might be the guy.

getting Brewster would be nice. With some good coaching he can be good because he had some of the worst O-line coaching behind Jim Bollman at OSU

What happened to Jared Crick? He was a 1st round pick at one time.
