However, there we a few elements that do.

Wright on reverses and jet sweeps, along with a couple play actions built from it. Add in more read option/actions from pistol/shotgun. And pulling sweeps from them. You cant expect to run it as effectively as auburn in college, but it would be a nice wrinkle that does work in the nfl.

The key is that it has to produce and keep the defense on their heels.

 

The read doesn't need to be anything more than play action looks for the most part on that either. A few... Literally a 2-3 times game, the QB might keep it.

 

Why the hell would you stop running the ball when you are having your way with the other team doing it??? Shoulda kept steam rolling that ass..
