i think this is pretty easy to predict... whoever doesn't do social networking is our #1 pick
If we stay 4-3: Werner. You have to have an elite d-end to be successful in the 4-3. From what I've heard, he's doing wayyyyyy better than LSU d-ends this season. Jones is too small to play DE in a 4-3.
Switch to 3-4: Star...no doubt.
A better choice would be to find a team who wants Jarvis Jones, and then trade back a couple spots.
Look at all the great safety prospects in this draft! One of them is sure to fall to us in the 3rd round..
Robert Lester, Tony Jefferson, Eric Reid, TJ McDonald, Kenny Vaccarro, Bacarri Rambo, Matt Elam, Ray Ray Armstrong!!!!
This is the best safety class to come out in a long time. Anybody know if some of these guys would be good or bad fits at SS for us? I know Ray Ray was projected as a 1st round pick until he got kicked off his team.
How this guy is projected to fall to the 4-6 round area is beyond me...Out of all the great safetys in this class, I think he's the best.
He's not even on the team, is he?
Bjoern Werner: Season stats (six games): 20 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble.
I'm diggin Werner... I think he'll be available 5-7 also. But i'd be ok with taking him 3rd if that's where we end up.
I also like Star Lotuleli, but I have a feeling he'll be taken 1st or 2nd.
He's playing for Faulkner Univerity of the NAIA conference!!! lol
I'm really hoping 2 QB needy teams are ahead of us and then possibly he falls to us. But Werner would be a solid grab
I love the amount of legit safeties this year, I have four that could end up in the first round:
Last year, I LOVED Harrison Smith and he slipped into the first - and of course Barron has been legit. We MUST fix our safties, Wiffin' is terrible & Babineaux is overrated because he took over Hopes (who was TERRIBLE) spot.
