Maybe we could trade back to the rams pick and get their second also.

    Warmack with the rams pick
Elam. Our first pick In The second.
    Hunt. Rams second round pick.

    Solid solid solid 2 rounds.

Just reading over the presser today and Munchak mentioned getting some young talent at OL and how we haven't drafted offensive lineman like that since Roos/Stewart. Makes me think we go OL in the 1st or 2nd, hopefully Barrett Jones in the 2nd. I'm not a big fan of going G in the top 10.

Munch came right out and said last year that the 20th spot was too high to take a C/G because "they don't touch the ball or make plays." he went on to say that tackle is the only position they would consider taking in the 1st. They went on to prove this theory by passing on DeCastro last year. I also think this coaching staff prides themselves on being able to "coach up" o-line talent. So don't look for them to go o-line in the 1st.

But Barrett Jones in the 2nd would be amazing. We also pick 7th in the 2nd round (39th overall). So we'll be a little higher in the picking order if he falls to us.

It will be almost impossible for the FO not to address the OL in FA and then again in the draft.

If you have a young QB who is inaccurate then to win you better be able to run the ball with consistency which requires a solid OL.

If we stay at #10 I just don't see how the pick isn't a defensive player.

I think DT or CB will be our first round pick. Both of those areas are problematic for us. Preferably DT. Star would be awesome at 10. Ansah at 10 might be a stretch, could possibly trade back and pick up an extra pick. Second round must go O line, whichever top o line prospect left.

    I'd like this..

    - Moving Ayers to D-End permanently. This is a big question mark and some might question it but the guy would be solid if he added 8-10 lbs and moved permanently.

1st Round - Manti Te'o LB, Notre Dame - Put him at SLB and he is insurance in case McCarthy can't stay healthy.
2nd Round - DJ Fluker RT/OG, Alabama - Perfect to start at guard instantly and maybe move to Stewart's spot if he leaves via FA.
3rd Round - Margus Hunt DE, SMU - Solid DE prospect who could become dominate. Perfect for hybrid defense.

He's been better at rushing from his stand up LB position actually. If we ran a bigger line with him as an optional rusher/LB it would suit the team much better.

Ayers is good at running around and making plays and he gets plenty of pass rush looks in his currently role. It doesn't make sense to give up one of the few current playmakers to take a chance on marginally improving DE.
