    Except they had over 600 yards of total offense. I'd say ut plays the pussiest defense I've ever seen.

    Plenty have. GT only averaged 290 yards rushing last year. ut's defense is really bad. They have been preparing for that offense since February. But, congrats on more Butch Jones!

    The key to stopping the triple option is scoring points. Something you'd think UT could do against a really small defense like GT's.

    The scheme is an equalizer to talent. That's why Navy, Air Force, and Army run it. They don't pull the same athletes, but if the defenders can't find the ball they can't tackle the ball carrier.

    It's the same reason the FCS schools were running the read option from the spread before the Power 5 schools.
