Decker would. If he plays well then he would be due a good chunk of money. The point of this thread is that the Titans will not have the kind of cap space they are used to.

We currently have $33.4m when considering the top 51 paid players, and $13.3m when considering the entire roster. We have the 4th most money in the league in both categories. We have one of the best cap situations in the league. So, unless 28 other teams are going to go into 2018 with negative cap spaces and nobody in the entire league will be able to sign a free agent or fill out a 53 man roster under the cap, I have a feeling you're looking at the numbers wrong. hahaha

Spain & Kline shouldn't make more than 3/4 mil annually. Both are raises compared to what they make now. Maybe 1 walks.

I can see DaQuan walking because of the depth behind him..

Avery Williamson seems to have a good reputation around the league. He might command the most.

Yea, 2018. We will roll over another $20-25m (plus cuts to get to 53 this year). We will end up with $25-30m in cap space for 2018 (if we don't extend contracts during the season).

Now, where we will get in trouble is 2019 and beyond. Because contracts we will have to make decisions on over the next couple years:
Orakpo, Morgan, Mariota, Matthews, Walker, Lewan, amoung others.

When we have to pay Mariota and Lewan within 12 months of each other, there goes the cap. Then we have to find a way to keep Orakpo and Morgan, assuming we want them to stick around. Matthews will be a decision. Walker will be aging by then, so he could be a cap casualty.

This is why alot of us wanted to extend Lewan early. If you thought this year's free agency was bad, just wait....

We don't yet know what the cap situation will be like because we don't know what the cap will be.

As far as sportrac goes, however, I doubt it's only going to go up $1 million when it's went up over $10 million a year for the last four years
