Why don't the Titans have a 3-4 package to use against the Colts or other teams that have a hard time with it. I am not suggesting a permanent switch from a base 4-3 but look at the results most 3-4 teams have against the Colts. Is it that complicated to have the ability to play both?

If we did we would not blitz since everybody knows you can't rattle The Great One Peyton, oh wait, he looked almost, might I say it mortal yesterday didn't he. Well I'm sure there is a reason we don't try it huh coach Fisher?:suspect:

Don't the Patriots play both the 4-3 and 3-4 depending on the circumstances?

The Titans don't have the personnel to play a 3-4, and it would take a few years to make those changes. A few teams, such as Miami, have the personnel who can play both. When you have a DE like Kevin Carter who's built like a DT, it makes it easier to play both 4-3 and 3-4.

In 2002 (the last time we beat Indy), we used a lot of 3-3-5 packages, with similar effect. But we certainly don't have the personnell to play much 3-4.

I can remember a time when we would walk lathon, bowden and all our other lbs to the line and have meeting at the qb. those were the days. I believe the corners we have could be dependable shortly. Also, do you remember when bishop would blitz up the middle when everybody was trying to script there plays, and sometimes the dude would be dazed and he would still bring it.

Starkiller, when do you think the Titans will return to a dominating style of D?
We seem to suck so badly on both sides of the ball...if the Titans were a leaky dyke there aren't enough dutch boys in all of Holland to plug all the holes. It's just so desperate. Tell me your opinion on Swartzie. Is he really all that bad? I used to not think so but after reading this board for an entire season I've really become a hater. There just seems to be no cohesiveness in the D across the units. They seem to funtion independent from eachother if at all.

We need to invent a package for a team that only has one good linebacker...:hmm:

With our secondary we need something like a 3-1-7.:brow:
