The system:

WR runs his route and depending on where the defender is, is where the ball will be thrown. The QB and the WR need to recognize the same thing or else the play is an int, or incomplete pass.

It was too complicated for Jake, just like Palmers system. It's about recognition of the defense and the WR and QB being on the same page.

That's the simplified version. It's also why we need a big bodied WR.

Though Palmer's offense was more about option routes they are both complicated. So you pretty much hit it. Also probably why Nate is not coming back.
