Britt, D Williams
Wright, K Walter
Hunter, N Washington
That's our WR rotation...nice...
I really liked Preston too. Looks like Hawk and Mariani are as good as gone. Wouldn't be surprised if Walter is cut before the season starts as well.
Technically Roberto Wallace, Diondre Borel, Michael Calvin, and Michael Preston are on the team as well.
Nate can shine when the attention of the defense is focused elsewhere.. see the first three games of 2011. Britt, Hunter, Wright, and Washington is a very nice starting set of receivers. I'm not in love with Walters, Williams, or Hawkins. We'll carry 5-6 WRs, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.
DWill is the odd man out unless we go with 6 receivers. And that would be dumb. Hawk is obviously history. So is Mariani and Jamie Harper.
CJ Greene and Reynaud at RB
Wright, Britt, Washington, Hunter and Walters at WR
Mariani is gone and so is Hawkins.
I guess we'll be carrying 6 so either we put Preston on PS or we trade Washington.
I think ( and hope) Wash stays. We really don't have a veteran leader outside of him for that group.. (Maybe Walter, but it will be his 1st year on the team)
IMO Britt, Wright, Walter, Wash are safe. The rest are on notice. I see us keeping 6 WRs though because Britt isn't reliable
^ obviously Hunter is in the safe group as well
I'm on the other side here and I think that Washington is more likely gone than on the roster.
My god i actually agree with the Duece! DW rocks! I hope i'm not stroking out here.
Seriously why would anybody "cut" our most consistent WR?
Walter will be 32 when the season starts and while you normally don't sign a guy to cut him if he looks a step slower and less impressive in camp you cut him. He is a 1 year million dollar body!
Hawkins gone! WTF is hard about that?
Mariani fights with renaud for the return job. Do we honestly consider him a WR? A viable WR?
Walters and Hawkins likely gone.
The idea of cutting a player like Washington is retarded. He is not even that old for his position.
Separate names with a comma.
