A good offensive line.

If you guys want to see what a good o-line does. Watch the 49'ers vs lions game from last night. Their line actually made it past the d-line and put blocks on lb's. This is what our team used to do. Now we cant get any penetration and the lb's have plenty of time to fill any lane or hole that may be there!

The zone scheme that we use has seemed to turn our OL into pansies. Stewart used to be the king of burying his guy with a pancake block. Don't see that anymore. Hutchinson didn't earn so many pro-bowl appearances in the zone blocking scheme. He has always been a road-grader.

3 of the 5 starters on the 49ers OL are recent 1st rnd picks as well. They made the OL a priority and it is paying dividends.

We feel that we can coach up our OL and make them great, but this appears to be a fallacy.

It might also help if CJ wasn't so timid. He used to shake guys up and break tackles like a champ, now he looks like a chump.

They may be overrated, still gonna rape us though :shakehead: , we're terrible up front. And Suh looks as good as ever, he's gonna stomp all over our interior line.

You would think they would change the blocking scheme or rotate the players around until it works, but instead they do nothing but watch them suck! Do they not care, what is wrong with our coaches?

Line play was fine when Munch was coaching them and before matthews and palmer. I want to see some heads roll and play some one else over harris.

I bet that Eugene is saying a big "how you like me now", and I still say "I don't miss him". Bottom line, Munch needs a reality check. It pisses me off because Munch and Bruce were some nasty s.o.b.s on the Oline when they played. They ran through Dlines. When he was hired, I knew that at least our run game would be straight. Instead of Sunday's game film, Munch and Bruce should watch one of their old tapes and get inspired.
