Yup. Savage will be that classic "scouts fell in love with him at the combine because of his measures but amounts to nothing in the pros" case

Looks like they may not have been completely honest:

According to David Climer Mett lost a lot of muscle:

Be careful quoting Climer, he has been shaky, at best.

Mett himself said he lost a lot of muscle but from what I remember hearing the muscle loss was in his leg not overall. I forgot where I saw it. I'll try to find it.

That can be dangerous. It can lead to him favoring the other leg too much which could lead to injury in that leg.

It also makes a reinjury more likely. But I assume that any player, even AP, lost some muscle in his leg when recovering from such a major injury. But now that he can put weight on it again, I'd wager that Zach will be back to form before the regular season.

Well if Mett can't play, I say we give Wilson a chance. He was solid at Arkansas, give the guy a shot.

I want mett to get there, But I want him to get there uninjured, and stout.

Give Mett some Ensure drinks and he will be good to go. I don't think this is a big issue.

At the same time it may be wise to put Zach on the PUP list to start the year. No sense in risking too much at this point in his career.
