I bet the Steelers have put in a call to see if he wants to come to their team.
Any of you read the story of the MTSU kicker that was openly gay?
I thought it was awesome because the team treated him like just another player. Which doesn't usually happen for kickers anyway.
But if MTSU can do so... in the south... on a football team... that's encouraging.
Just don't admit to being Muslim in M'boro though.
You shouldn't be so proud to be a MORON anywhere. LOL
Treating homosexuals like equals is moronic?
It must be painful living in an ever-evolving world while you fight progress.
Just a reminder, this thread is not in Taboo............... not yet anyway
plenty of musslums in Rutherford county, and plenty of Buddists and Baptists and Catholics and Church of Christ ect.....
openly gay kicker - OK whatever. nobody cares.
This kinda coverage is going to happen until we have a few players in every sport come out, I'd just get used to it guys.
So I had my first Jason Collins' debate the other day with a gay guy in my programming class who took the stance that Jason Collins would not fin I team because he was openly gay. I was on the side that he was not going to find a job because he is a 35 year old career backup center with a sub 50 FT% and that anyone who says otherwise is over blowing this whole impact.
Also, I do not find what Jason Collins did all that courageous as he came out as gay after his career was effectively over. 90% of the population knew who he was before this week and him coming out is not going to change a thing in professional sports.
Call me when LeBron, Kobe, or Durant come out of the closet.
Mike Wallace shows he does not completely get it when he made this tweet: "“All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH (shakin' my head) …”
TMZ called his tweet "Homophobic" which is probably a little much. I would not call it homophobic just a little
