    LOL

That's all down to directing, not anything particularly special from Washington.

Just saying.......I enjoy 90% of his movies. For me it's quite humorous to see just how 'Denzel' that scene is, even without dialogue. :)

But can he play a guy that can only use his left foot? NAH.

Wow... that's pretty much my list too.

Sorry folks, but Will Farrell is not funny at all, and never has been, and Sandler has only ever been funny as SNL's Opera Man; outside of that he's just been a frat boy douche bag.

Speaking of which- when the remake of Arthur was released, the local paper listed it as follows in it's theater listings:

Seriously. That was the listing. Awesome.

I like Whitaker also, but man, I've seen him take a beating in these types of threads.

I thought TLKOS was excellent... very stressful to be in the doctor's shoes. However, it's important to point out that it was a historical novel and not in any way at all a true story. I mention that because I saw elsewhere that some site got confused and thought it was a badly-made biopic... (Cracked.com, I think).

Is it the trendy thing to hate on Farrell now? I notice it more and more lately. Guess he was getting too popular for being funny.

    That happens.

I understand if he's not your style- but telling other people he's not funny when most people think he is- as if you know something they don't?... silly. Sort'a like Dane Cook. Everyone loved the guy when they thought they were on to this new up and comer. Once he blew up overnight (not coincidence) everyone decided to hate him for it. I think comedy hipsters may be worse than the musical ones.

Then again. I say there's never been a movie less funny than Napolean Dynamite. Some people apparently disagree though.

Megastar comedians these days seem destined to self-implode. Guys like Ferrell and Cook gained insane levels of popularity because of their unique comedic voices (I know Cook has been accused of ripping people off plenty but I mean he was unique in the eyes of Joe Public). They blow up and start churning out hit movie after hit movie (or in Cook's case, hit stand up specials/albums). Then, at some point, the public starts going "Hey, he's just doing the same schtick over and over again, WTH". The comedian then ends up being detested for doing the exact same thing that made them popular in the first place. It's a simple matter of overexposure. Seth Rogen is going through the same thing right now.

Have you Ferrell haters never seen Elf? That movie is comedy genius.

I'm probably the only person that enjoyed Land of the Lost, but I don't care.

    And Elf is classic.

I loved Ferrell in The Other Guys.

Probably my second favorite movie of his.
