Read the book and you will see. The real George Jung was very different, a big strong guy who threw a Mexican police chief down a staircase. Not a little pissant like Johnny Depp. The character Pee-wee Herman played was not a flamer, he was actually an ex Marine commando who trained special forces in Vietnam. The guy called "Diego" in the movie is actually Carlos Lehder. A very famous cartel leader who was extremely close to Pablo Escobar. The part with him never having seen his daughter again was complete BS and made up. He actually got out of jail and went back to running marijuana from Mexico. They also cut out some of the funniest stories. Like George cutting down a bunch of power lines so his plane could safely land on the highway in Mexico. And could not figure out later why the power in half the city was out that night. I understand that when it comes to true stories it is hard for a movie to match the book. However, Blow the movie could have been significantly better than it was.
