As much as we've struggled over the last month there are still only 5 AFC teams with a better record than us.

The Bengals would own us in a tie break but we own the Ravens.
If we can become more consistent we could still have a shot at a wildcard.

The Falcons next week are struggling as much as we are.

This is a roller coaster Titans team. You never know which team is coming out on Sunday or even between halves (or quarters). But anyone can get hot and make a run. The Packers were 6-3 this time last season and the Steelers the same in '09.

A win in Atlanta would be huge.

They Bengals and Steelers have the tie breaker over us, but there is a scenario where we could still get the tie breaker over them thanks to the Ravens.

If there is a 3 way tie for a wildcard spot between Titans/Ravens/Steelers, we would win.

The same thing could happen with the Bengals too if the Ravens can sweep them as well. We just really need the Ravens to not win that Division

I took a look at the standings this morning and thought the same thing. Whilst I doubt we'll be there at the end of the year it certainly keeps it interesting.

Following wacky playoff scenarios is far more enjoyable than already preparing for next season.

Just try and get to 10 wins, and then see what happens.

See what i mean? How many posters declared us officially done after the Bengal game? Officially proclaimed that our coaching staff was s**t?

Our needs to improve the team on draft day? Every position!

One win later we are a playoff contender!

    Fact is we are!

Food for thought for the whiner brigade that is so prevalent on this board. I'm waiting for the next thread complaining about how we are not getting our media props.

As always with the extremes, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Should be an entertaining 7 weeks.

As I said a few weeks ago, I'm guessing that Week 17 @ Houston will decide the AFC South.

I wasn't one whining last week after the loss, but we could stand to improve almost every position. Nothing wrong with stating the facts.

Wild Card? Don't think we can win the division?
