Additionally 8 of them, or one quarter of all starting QBs, were first overall picks.
What are you even talking about?
2012 there were only 11 QB's drafted.
2011 there were 12 drafted.
2010 a whopping 14 drafted.
Where do you get 20-30 from?

If you want to get a good view of what I'm talking about. Take the last 7 first rounds 2008-2013 and compare them to the last 7 2nd rounds. The hit rate will be slightly higher for the first rounds, then go again with the 1st and 3rd rounds, the difference will be greater and greater until a drastic dip from 1st to 7th rounds. The 7th rounds for QB's is probably something astronomical like 1 in 1000 and that's probably even high.
I wouldn't even bother, after the 4th round you'd be hard pressed to find a single guy not named Tom Brady who's played well.
