I've always been a big fan of pencil art, and what this guy can do with a pencil is amazing. He's got tons of players from every major sport on this site. Have a look around. He's great at shading, but other than that he's just pretty good. Wouldn't pay for his work, but possibly because I can do as well. I was working on a Bulluck a while back... Putting in 4 hours, I'd give it away for free.
Compared to the non-artists amongst us I guess you might say he was okay. Amongst sketch artist peers this dude is pretty average and outright sucks at facial expression and his body symmetry is off.. Bad flash at best.. Wow ^ reading it now, that came off as pretty shtty. No grief intended to the artist or whoever likes his stuff. That said, if I had submitted those in any of my numerous years in art I would expect the same criticisms from the instructors.
i'm really in no position to judge because that is 1000X better than i could ever do, but his facial features are really bad. CJ's face looks like half of it is going in a back hole.
