He will always have problems like this. I wouldn't have taken a risk on him until the 3rd round. Great story, great kid, but terrible pick as always by the Raiders. You knew they'd reach for someone. They'll regret not taking Floyd or trading even further back to get another CB (Trufant or Rhodes).

It's a miracle Hayden even survived. I don't know how effective he'll be and what kind of impact his near death injury will have on him moving forward... but this can't be a good sign.

 

I didn't really know anything about him until right before the draft and feel like he was a reach, but I don't think this is a big deal.

 

If this has anything at all to do with the heart thing, then it's a very, very big deal. If not, it's much ado about nothing IMO.

 

He'll still be better than Dee Milliner.
