What most of us want today is kind of irrelevant. Sure we could use an upgrade at Center, and SS, but realize at the end of this season we'll need to sign our FB back or find another one, decide what to do with Leroy Harris, figure out who is worth retaining at DE; Jacob Ford or Dave Ball, and see if Tully will stay for fair $$.

We know we won't break the bank on anyone one player. And C.J. is sure to want a new deal. Maybe Moss too.

I'd like a new SS & C, but they aren't major needs. Luckily for us, this upcoming offseason wont be as tricky as last years was. Last year nearly half the team was up for new deals, and most ended up leaving.

Great piece JC. I think that we need to move Harris to C, cut Amano, and plug Velasco, Kropog or Otto in at G.

As far as SS goes, Robert Johnson might be our answer. Maybe even Myron Rolle.

Tulloch can kick rocks. He's all heart but that ain't enough. CJ is the most important contract situation that we need to worry about.

Lets get Johnson in on Sunday, because Chris Hope's play on sunday was nothing short of hurrendous.

We should wait til next season to get a Franchise QB. Give VY 1 more shot, besides, I don't like anyone in this class besides Luck, and MAYBE Mallet, I doubt either will be there when we pick.

Hell no to Ponder (Grossman 2.0), Newton (Vince Young 2.0), or Tolzien

    Draft Barkley in 2012

That's probably the route we take. I'm sure both Fish and Vince are back in 2011, and if they can't get it done we need to draft the franchise QB our new coach wants.

I wouldn't say all that. Look at the last 10 years. Carson Palmer was good and is still good. Matt Leinart, we really don't know what he's capable of. His attitude hasn't helped win over any coaches that will actually play him. Matt Cassel, does he count? John David Booty, okay he's crap, but to be fair, what have we seen him do? Then there's Mark Sanchez who is playing way ahead of schedule for a 2nd year guy. I 'd say it's 50/50 on getting QB's from USC.

When you look at Palmer's numbers they look really good, but when you watch him play he doesn't look like anything more than average. I'd take him over some QBs in the league and he certainly isn't a bust, but for the first overall pick I'd expect a playoff win.

    Yeah we do. He sucks.

That's the funniest thing in the world. He couldn't beat out Leinart, but Leinart sucks. Cassell was decent in NE with Moss and Welker. Then he totally sucked last year and has looked like a world beater this year. Too early to tell for me.
We haven't seen him do anything and we never will.
    I just don't like the guy....so yeah.

I'm already assuming we are going give VY another year since that is when his contract ends, so I think we will go DB or DL in the first round. We go Derrick Morgan last year, but he got hurt unfortunately and was looking beastly. Also wouldn't mind picking up a stud O-lineman to protect Vince too, our line is not as good as last year by any means. We definately need to resign Ahmard Hall, dude is a ballplayer for sure and is a leader.

    1st round - DB
    2nd round - DL
    3rd round - RB
    4th round - DB
    5th round - WR
    6th round - DL
