I initially had said 42-10 Bama over Notre Dame, but I am being a bit more conservative now because I believe Notre Dame's defense is legit enough to keep it somewhat respectable. As for their offense - they will do nothing.

    Bama 27 Notre Dame 10.

I'd take Kentucky or Tennessee over Pittsburgh or TCU.

ND basically got a free touchdown against Pitt from a phantom pi penalty. It came on a 4th down play! So instead of Pitt getting the ball at the 30 yard line with the lead ND got first and goal off a bad call.

And what about the bad call against Stanford?

The way i looked at the game is that Bama almost gave the game to Georgia. They drove the ball to the Georgia one foot line and ended up with no points!

Lacy's fumble put us out to the 5 and McCarron threw that stupid int.

Then there is the blocked FG which gave Georgia a TD and then the atrocious coverage by Sunseri on the TE to allow them to get inside the 10 yard line on that last play.

I thought Bama was too soft on that last drive not even covering #88 the TE until they got into Bama territory.

Bama could have won that game by 14-20 points.

Notre Dame deserves to be in the championship game and they have 2 real nice wins(Stanford(Another bullcrap call) & Oklahoma) and a couple of good wins. But like Florida they have had some real close calls with teams that Bama would have blown out.

ND beat BYU 17-14. BYU has not beaten a quality team all year.

The win over Pitt with the help of the officials call.

ND beat Michigan 13-6. Bama was up 21-0 on Michigan in the first quarter and won 41-14 and it honestly was not that close.

I'll be conservative and say 24-16 Bama.

Florida was average all season long. Their "played toughest schedule" thing was such a joke, proving stats do often lie.

    Wasn't surprised by this one.

If only football worked that way.

And that was week 1 of the season where anything can happen. Hard to judge. Add to that, UM was without 2 of their best players at key positions.

On this we agree. College football is an uncertainty at best. Almost any team can beat any other on a given day. One player generally can win the game on his own but one can certainly lose the game.
