If he's a party kid, he'll love Austin.

But Austin is too much of a college town for me to live in forever. Like when I went to UT, I LOVED living there for 5 years, but eventually, you'll want to settle down somewhere else.

I do have family there and all throughout Texas... Austin is a great city. I've really only been there once, but I loved it. I'd like to live there one day.

I really don't know much about the city other than how awesome it was. It's just the feel you get - nothing really in particular.

It always draws a lot of comparisons to Nashville. I haven't spent enough time there to know if that's accurate, but that comparison probably comes from the music aspect. They like to call themselves "Music City" as well.

Everyone tells me I'd love Austin, TX.

I'm not sure how to take that.

Ideal XO cities in America - Nashville, Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, Asheville. I'll raise a family in one of these cities one day.

I'm just not so sure about Austin.

I doubt you would want to raise your Family in New Orleans these days from what I hear. Never been there, but I believe in what I hear about that place. Savannah will join the New Orleans list very soon.

Savannah has always had bad areas, that is every city these days. I just like the culture.

I'll add Memphis to my list. Highly underrated city IMO.
