Any Franchised players looking good to us?

two first round picks and the same type of money haynesworth is asking for. that's quite a lot.

 

Would be tempting to do with peppers but no way robinson is worth that. Peppers is 29 and a hall of fame player so he would be worth a huge contract and 2 late #1 picks.

Problem is we have plenty of good DEs. Its a DT we need.

 

None of the franchised players is worth 2 first rnd picks except for maybe Peppers. But I think he can be had for less (in draft picks) consider he badly wants out. Jared Allen was traded for a first and 2 thirds. Perhaps they'd take Scaife and a first for Peppers.

Of course, the bigger problem is...it's been reported that Peppers has given the Panthers a list of ONLY 4 teams he wants to be traded to and 3 of them are in the NFC east. I'd guess the other team is the Pats, Ravens, Steelers, or Titans. Peppers can effectively block the deal if he won't agree to sign a long term contract with the club...ala Jared Allen did when he went to Minnesota.
