My daughter has a state project to do, and her state is North Carolina. I've Googled about all there is to Google on a state, but was wondering if there's something about NC that I can't find on the internet? Anybody care to share something about the state that I'm probably missing?

You could write a novel on Biltmore (well, I'm sure somebody already has) but that place is spectacular - especially the old underground. The story of that place getting built is something as well..
That place looks amazing. So one of the men responsible for the industrial revolution had his home there... I'll be sure that's in her report. Her teacher will love that.
It is.. The property alone is as well.. They have a snazzy resort hotel on the property we've stayed at a few times. You never have to leave the property at all..
