Yes. My parents had something similar with a group for TPAC - Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

They had near perfect seats for shows there. A few rows from the stage, dead center. They paid a "members" price annually for those seats... THEN they bought tickets. The benefit for that was they would always be able to get those seats.

    Pretty kick-ass seats... I didn't pay for it, so I didn't care...

My PSL's were in the cheap seats but at least I got to go to a Super Bowl. The early yrs were the good yrs compared to what is going on now. There are days I wish Fisher was still here

You buy a license for your seat. One time fee. The license gives you the right to buy tickets (each year). But if you don't buy tickets, you forfeit your license.

I think it's Personal Seat License but I could be mistaken.

That's why I don't think people should be worried about Munch coming back regardless of the next two games.

Another thing to think about, the Titans have been here 15 years now. The people that originally bought PSLs are 15 years older. I know someone that is selling (or possible letting go) of his PSLs because he is older and has health issues and can't really attend the games anymore. His children are a mix of not well off enough to afford them and lack of interest in buying them.

I imagine there are several people in that same boat.

Basically, it's the textbook definition of BS.

It's a way to get more money from your base of fans.

I know for a fact that Indianapolis does not pull this stunt, and St. Louis does.

It's just a way for the organization to make up funds they don't get from the government. They pass on that burden to the fans. It's crap, plain and simple. Selling some imaginary right to a seat....then selling you tickets for those seats.

The reason you don't understand it is because it is incomprehensibly stupid.

It's funny that they send out emails trying to sell PSLs for only X amount per month. That's the first time I recall them getting desperate like that.

I'm pretty sure they put this in place to guarantee the profitability of the Titans when they started out.

The fear being what if the first five years of Titans history were like these recent 5 years, would we have been like the Jags? That was the risk Bud took moving the team to Nashville.

Ok. Well they showed they were profitable. Why don't they return the money that was ill-taken and stop charging the psl fees?

I understand paying and getting something in return. This is just them taking your money because it's a hoop you HAVE to jump through.
