I'm sorry a CB Cover 2 zone does involve him following a WR 20 yards down the field before he 'heads back' to his zone in the flat.

and he doesn't even look at Lamont to know where he was.

It's not his job to make sure where LT is. LT is SUPPOSED to be in deep coverage. Pac is supposed to hand the receiver off to him. What part of that isn't clear? Pac cannot watch the QB, the receiver and LT at the same time.

well you said Pacman was helping Lamont when he was getting burnt, but as I pointed how, Pacman wasn't looking at Lamont so how would he know?

    Moot point, it wasn't a cover 2.

    Thunder...

Yes. Glad we have that straight.

Please show me where the National Football League lists dropped balls? They are NOT part of the stats kept by NFL.com.

Furthermore, I already explained to you how Stats LLC gets their Stats! They don't have ex-players or coaches do this stuff...they have fans do it.

You on the other hand, have made claims you don't seem willing to back up.

    Here's a list...

You claimed VY was the problem...so what is your solution to that 'problem?'

You claimed that Bennett shouldn't be held accountable for a perfectly thrown ball that hit him in the hands and dropped....because he wasn't expecting it there so you blame it on QB/WR chemistry? Still agree with this concept of yours?

You claimed Bennett was unfairly critized implying a pass 3 feet over Bennett's head got Bennett criticizm instead of VY. Please provide ANY proof you have of this.

And you have failed to respond to rather simple questions...such as...

According to the above, no rookie WR should ever have an 'official' drop because they can't possibly be expected to have any chemistry with the QB....right?

If all of Bennett's 'drops' were due to VY throwing the ball 3 feet over his head (and when he hit him in the chest it was because of no chemistry), then how come this happened for the last several years with McNair who during that time developed a lot of chemistry with Bennett and only won an MVP award as a QB??? Or did McNair only throw it 3 feet over Bennett's head but hit Mason in the hands MOST of the time?

    I await your response...

    Well...

Short of anyone telling you it's cover 2, it's impossible to know if they were in cover 2 or cover 4. Even harder is that Pac is around 10 yards deep when he considers stopping.

If they were in cover 2, it could be that the Titans have read rules...such as if no reciever comes towards your area, you change to cover 4 (deep quarter). Pac may well have slowed to see how the slot receiver would break to determine if he should continue dropping or stop and cover the flat. It's possible they also put in a read rule just for this game since it would be somewhat suicidal to play a lot of cover 2 with LT being one of the safeties.

More likely, they were in cover 4. As mentioned above, Pac drops to about 10 yards and is still going...unusual for a cover 2. NOT unusual for cover 4. And Pac was probably gambling that Harrison was gonna curl up around 10 yards (which the Colts like to do). Hope/LT got burned earlier in the game anticipating Harrison curling up at around the same distance.

Even still, LT MUST react quicker.
