    question about foley settlement...

    we all no the story...basic summary...shot 3 times ended his carrer, n settled it for 5.5m.

    some questions......where did he get that 5m. said he sued the state of colorado....so im guessin they paid for most of it...if not all? did the guy who shot him hv to giv up nything (monetary wise)? is the state gonna do nything aginst the guy?

    Public officials aren't personally liable for their actions while on the job. It's yet another reason why we need to be really careful with who we give badges to.
