If I was a player on offense, I'd pony up money for my defenses fines so they could play tackle football. I would be surprised if they don't pitch together as a team regardless.

2. League goes to the extreme of lying to the players, so that the players can play
3. Players get knocked in the head
4. owie leads to brain damage
5. Players form a lawsuit with many people jumping on board
6. League makes changes, trying to avoid lawsuits

Pathetic how many times this has to be explained to some of you guys. This is on the players and lawsuits (and rightfully so), not the league.

Cry to the players. No one really cares how much everyone complains about it, but at least point the finger in the right direction.

 

Chris Long got fined the same amount for throwing punches and getting ejected.

I still don't understand what Ayers could have done differently in that situation aside from just standing there and not attempting to make a play on the QB. Given the current pussification of the league, should they have thrown a flag for it? Sure. Whatever. But to fine the guy 15 grand for that play, where there was clearly no ill intent? Absolutely absurd.

I understand that the league is doing all they can to cover their @$$ and avoid potential future lawsuits. But you can CYA without going to such crazy extremes. Goodell and the powers that be are literally ruining the game. Defenders can say that's an overreaction all they want. But I truly believe it. If you think the rule changes end here you're naive, to put it nicely.

he is a pure a**hole and I wish I could see him in person I would have some words with this clown of a commissioner. I have never seen anyone try to change a game so much in so little time. I really wish the fans could stand up together and get this guy out.
