excellent point. WYWH was released in 1975.

    top 3 songs of 1975
    1. Love Will Keep Us Together, The Captain and Tennille
    2. Rhinestone Cowboy, Glen Campbell
    3. Philadelphia Freedom, Elton John

the Hustle finished 1975 at number ......... 21

yes Avvie is correct. Anyone else remember deep cut rock stations? Today nothing like that gets play time - but every chick in the world can grab an acustic guitar and prattle on about crap and seemingly every one of the songs gets put everywhere I go - lol

Ugh, 70's pop was HORRID!! :(

The KIss FM pop station here is now playing the 80's/90's equivalent of bad 70's pop... an endless stream of sappy love dreck like "Almost Paradise" and "Against All Odds"... wtf is that stuff being played again??

70s pop was different and superior than 80s pop. Aside from disco duck and convoy. 70s pop was at least varied and not so predictable where much of 80s pop was 3 note songs like the songs you cited and the Lionel Richie crap.

Both Floyd and the Eagles are a bit overrated but given the choice i would go with Floyd hands down.

The Eagles were the laziest stage band you will ever see and some of those songs will put you asleep.

    Pink floyd wins this one..
