Toadies aight. Can't touch toad though. Possum kingdom is a great track, but toad has a good 5-6 legendary tunes, at least, in my eyes.

But Toadies had two back-to-back amazing records. Rubberneck and Hell Below/Stars Above. Possum Kingdom wasn't even near the best track..

Had to go back and listen to a few TtWS tracks as a refresher - and that's definitely soft rock Muzak fodder..

I like soft rock muzak fodder.
And "Fall Down" isn't that soft, and that was one of their bigger hits.

But yeah, overall, not hard rock. More pop sensibilities.

"Something's Always Wrong" isna great frigggin song...so is "Fall Down" No, they're not rock and roll but they are great songsmiths.
    Similar vein is Tonic.

Something's Always Wrong is so excellent. The most underrated of their top songs. Great harmonies. Great band. Simple yet complex.
All their top songs get an emotional response from me. Maybe just nostalgia, but it's all great, regardless.

Got inspired, listening to Tonic on Amazon Prime...and it's Vertical Horizon. Could totally be the same producer and engineer.

    176 bands taking part.
I don't agree with all of them but we ran the nominations for a bit...
