    I'm down with this - just "tragically" overworked right now..

    We've done it two ways in the past
    Brackets / head to head
    (requires someone to oversee)

    or ..
    Add one / delete one (which takes less oversight)
    works this way
    Start off each band with 3 or 4 points:
    Aerosmith [4]
    AC/DC [4]
    Led Zep [4]
    The Who [4]

    To play you add one point to a band (by subtracting a point from another)
    ACDC +1 [5]
    Led Zep -1 [3]

    when a band gets to zero they are eliminated.
    You can only vote once - until another vote is cast, then you can go again.
    You can't vote for or against the same band twice in a row until the final eight.
    New bands can be added - just start them off with [5] points and subtract 1 point from any other band..

    Let's just do it the way we did it last time... Where you have brackets and have votes between the bands.

    If you're too busy I could run it though you'd do it better. You'd just have to tell me how exactly it works and how I choose the bands that face off.

    The "scene" those bands arise from has existed for decades. The only thing "over anyone's head" is the gawdawful haircuts the kids in those bands ape off each other.. Eventually they lose that adolescent pretense and come back to Rock n Roll.
