Bears DT Ian Scott available

    We should give this guy a chance he still young and has been pretty productive. He's got the potential I thing he would be a great fit. We need DT depth too and he's the best available.

    Unless somebody very good drops or we trade for Jenkins this should be our guy.

    were always too late. MR probably didn't even know who he was.
     
  6. The fact that he was still available obviously means that he was asking for way too much money (just like Chris Brown). He's a solid DT, but he wasn't a starter and teams clearly didn't think he was going to make a big jump.

    As for now, we have a lot of depth at DT. Haynesworth, Starks, Long, Mahelona, Johnson, and Brown (plus some camp bodies). They weren't going to sign Scott knowing that it meant cutting a young DT who still has the potential to develop.
