I thought we could share stories involving drinking beer on vacation, which is the busiest time of the year for people who enjoy the taste of a brewed beverage.

If we get enough threads started with the subject of beers, we could create a whole sub-forum just for Beer/Spirits Conversations.:pour::toast:

I'm not going to start this thread with a story of the past, but a plan for the future.
My family will be venturing cross-roads to Southern Maine starting this Saturday, and returning sometime over the next 2 weeks.
I already have reservations for a Beer Tour of Portland, Maine.
    This one...

I hope to return here eventually with a story of that tour...:cheers3:

If you go through Vermont, I highly recommend going to Burlington and trying Switchback. Either that or stop at a local store and pick up Trout River Rainbow Red Ale as well. Both are excellent. :)

I had some Samuel Adams Summer Seasonal in Boston yesterday...I'm in Maine now, and I'm icing down some Shipyard lager (brewed in Portland, ME) for our lobster boil tonight...life is tough...

Last night, I wound up having a summer ale called VACATION LAND by Gritty McDuff's brewery in Portland, ME. It has a citrisie aroma with a hoppy flavor, it went excellent with seafood from a wharf raw bar...

Any label without Coors, Miller or A/B is a good sign ;)
