That reaction came after an interception Damian Williams handed Green Bay.
Too bad social media wasn't around then, or I would have pics lol.
That's the honest to God story though.
My dad and I were Cowboys fans. He grew up in Texas and always followed them. I used to have a lot of Cowboys gear... Emmitt jersey, Cowboys sweatshirt/sweatpants, Cowboys hat, etc. As soon as we got a team though, we put them on the back-burner and became Oilers/Titans fans.
I was too young to really understand football when I was a Cowboys fan... This was when I was like 4-7. I remember being downstairs with my mom when my parents were still together, and my dad was upstairs watching the Super Bowl where the Cowboys raped the Bills - he was so loud; like me with the Titans. haha
The last time I remember still pulling for the Cowboys was Sophomore year of high school (2005). My girlfriend bought me a Cowboys hat for my bday or something... that was the last time I cared about them. Pretty much hate them now.
I think a lot of Oilers fans jumped the bandwagon as soon as they saw how good we were in 1999. Then a few hopped off when Houston got a new team. Then all of them hopped off and became Texans fans as soon as that team actually became relevant - as in 2011. I swear the Texans had very few fans before that... at least very few supportive, vocal fans.
Lived in Charlotte, N.C. and followed the Panthers until moving back home to Nashville in 01 and started following the Titans and fan-hood started from there.
