80 TDs in three years. Average.

    TWW2 logic.

    Jake Locker, holdout? Never.

This is the same guy who turned down $2M coming out of high school to pursue football at Washington. This is also a guy who hasn't blown his $12.5M rookie deal the day he signed it.

Money doesn't change people, it makes them more of what they already are.

Soooooo now you're quoting stats to defend a player, yet trash for doing it when I do that with CJ?

Anyways, Dalton has a career 85 passer rating with a completion percentage at 60 percent. That's not above average number imo.

Okay maybe he wouldn't hold out but he would still be asking for a new contract. Honestly if he played at that kind of level we wouldn't hesitate to give him big money. So this hypothetical situation would never happen.

Jake Locker is Ruston Websters dream child, the minute Jake justifies a long tern deal, Ruston is showering him with money. There will never be a holdout with Locker and the Titans.

If he plays well this year and we sign him to a long-term lowball deal there is no way in hell he is finishing out that contract without getting a new deal (assuming he is still playing at a high level). Whether or not that requires a holdout is really up to the team. A holdout doesn't always have to be viewed as a selfish act. Many times it's completely understandable.

Anyway, we're talking way down the road here so it's not even really worth discussing. Jake seems like a standup guy so I don't think this franchise will hesitate to compensate him at a high level if/when he deserves it.

Lol. Dalton's stats aren't five years old and declining.

    Year 1: 58.1% 20 TDs 3398 yards 80.4 rating
    Year 2: 62.3% 27 TDs 3669 yards 87.4 rating
    Year 3: 61.9% 33 TDs 4293 yards 88.8 rating

They've put more on his plate every year and he's ascending every year.

Yep, which is why I personally was hoping this deal never saw the light of day. In the event Locker blows it this year I wanted Dalton for us in 2015.
