Thinking about Pac made me inquire; who is the best player in any sport to be convicted and never fulfill his athletic career? The first name I thought of was Allen Iverson, because of him going to jail and almost not being able to go to Georgetown, but he has made a drastic turnaround. I'm talking about guys that were awesome, but are now out of their various leagues becuase of legal indiscretions, ie. Lawrence Phillips(who never proved to be anything special in the NFL).

Muhammed Ali. He obviously fulfilled his athletic career, but he was the best athlete ever convicted of a crime.
