    Best
    Heaven and Hell
    Children of Bodom
    In Flames
    Megadeth
    Killswitch Engage
I could go on I have seen a lot of metal shows

The haven't been any bands that I thought were really bad live
The second time I saw megadeth the mixing was band and the other guitarist guitar was not working right. Ozzfest 2006 had some bad mixing as well

    Good ones I remember:
    System of A down
    Styx
    Boston
    All That Remains
    Seal
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Though very overpriced)
    Black Sabbath with Dio
    Lacuna Coil
    Steven Curtis Chapman
    In Flames
    Killswitch Engage
    Sanctus Real
    Demon Hunter
    Winds of Plague
    Tons of others..

    Mediocre:
Megadeth: Saw them twice, First, they were very good, second time, pretty awful.
Avenged Sevenfold: Saw them right as City of Evil was coming out, and they were very good. 2nd time, not so much
Dragonforce: Exact same as the other two above.
Eddie Money: Got to see him for free, so I can't complain.
    Switchfoot
    Children of Bodom
    Machine Head

    Bad:
    Relient K
    Hatebreed
    Gnarls Barkley
Pillar (well, a lot of Christian rock bands I've seen)
    Job For a Cowboy

I've seen SOTY live and I'm not much for screamo, but they killed it. They all do ridiculous stunts onstage. Its entertaining. Great mosh pits.

Is Heaven and Hell what they're calling Dio/Sab now?
I saw that line-up way back in the day and thought it was great - better than seeing them with that long-haired Benny Hill (at least in recent years)..
I saw Sab at a dinner theater once with Ian Gillan singing. They played Smoke on the Water.. Weird.

Yeah they go by Heaven and Hell now, to avoid confusion with Ozzy, and so people don't go there expecting Iron Man, Paranoid, or Holy Diver. Although, the rights to the Black Sabbath name belong solely to Iommi. They were outstanding live. Dio is hilarious, and still very good.

    EDIT:
And I really wish Deep Purple would get back together. They were so good, but Ritchie Blackmore's going around to Renaissance fairs playing his lyre now or whatever, wearing his Robin Hood outfit. It is truly ridiculous, seeing the greatness he came from. He's probably in his mom's attic now playing D&D. Dork.

    Prepare to be amazed.
