Here’s a report on the Steelers from colleague Josh Cooper:

If Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger keeps up his current pace, he’ll set a career-high in yards at 4,444. He’ll also tie his top total for touchdowns (32), and he’ll throw for the fewest interceptions since he came into the NFL in 2004 (4).

While it’s hard to think Roethlisberger will keep up his hot start over a full season, he can at least continue it one more game Thursday when the Steelers play the Titans at LP Field. He has eight touchdowns and one interception while averaging almost 278 yards per game and completing 65.6 percent of his passes.

Roethlisberger has in some ways benefitted from a slowed Steelers running back situation through the early part of the season, although starter Rashard Mendenhall returned for last Sunday’s win over the Eagles.

“I think our offense is playing pretty well. I don’t know if it’s just me,” Roethlisberger said during a conference call with Nashville reporters on Tuesday. “We’re controlling the ball, we’re converting third downs, haven’t been sacked a bunch and just trying to get the ball to the playmakers. We have a whole bunch of them. To me that’s our best offense, get it out of my hands and get it to them and let them do.”

The Steelers rank 23rd in scoring offense and 18th in total offense, but Roethlisberger has been the top bright spot. And with Mendenhall back, the attack should get more varied.

“(Roethlisberger) has done a nice job leading us and getting us off to a good start offensively,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. “We’re playing pretty good situational football because he’s making good, fast decisions.”

That's what last year's score was...

I was going to say 45-10, but since they'll be without Polamalu that's one less pick 6, so I'll say...

    38-10 Steelers.

The only way we win this game is if the field just happens to implode a la Dark Knight Rises while we're up in the 1st quarter.
