Bill Cowher to coach at Arkansas next year

A buddy of mine has a friend who works on the CBS NFL today set and he said that he heard Cowher was talking on the phone to a notable Arkansas booster. Now I know that this connection is shaky but you have to think about it.. Cowher was on vacation in Ozark Mountains in 2012 and he said he loved the area. He played football with a guy who a stand out at Arkansas in the NFL and from what I've heard, all he has to do is sign his name on the dotted line and he will be moving to Central Arkansas. Apparently Cowher is going announce this on NFL Today after the college football season is over. Arkansas has a lot of money in the bank and some of the best facilities in the country. You heard it here first, Bill Cowher to the Hogz!

So steely McBeam is coming to the SEC huh? Not bloody likely.

Trying to get a jab in on me, but what he failed to understand is, and I stated this very clearly, that I don't believe the rumors of gruden to Tenn until I see it for real. But I can still talk about it just like we all speculated on who would be the starter for the titans at QB or what britts suspension would be. We all had no clue what was going to happen but we still talked about it. That's what forums are about speculation. Like I have said over and over and over I would love gruden to come to Tenn but until I see it on ESPN as breaking news it will be speculation and nothing more. I was clearly quoting things I had seen on other forums about the subject, not what I believe to be fact.

I do not see Cower being a good fit for Arkansas. He is too strait laced. Not in keeping with the type of coaches they like to hire. If you were to say Butch Davis then I would beleive you.

I've heard other names being floated around for the Ark job. Charlie Strong is one I hear a lot...

No one on this planet believes Cowher would join Arkansas.
