That's why it's 2.0. Runs about the same, but is the passer we wish jake was. I see this guy being really good, accuracy is tough to tell though is such a small sample size

Always like to look at how a college QB does against good competition.

At first glance, it looks like he had a solid game against South Carolina: 25/36; 358 yds; 9.9 ypa; 2 TD 2 INT. But then you see that South Carolina put up a big lead (28-10) and UCF scored those 2 TDS with about 10 minutes left in the 4th (on at about 10 min, the other at like 2 min).

Not to diminish the attempted comeback, but it puts things into perspective. The same type of thing happened in the Louisville game - Louisville gets up 28-7 and allows UCF to go on a roll for the win.

Then you look at how he did against South Florida (2-10) in a game UCF almost lost: 17/26; 219 yds; 2 TD 2 INT. Just not that impressive against a bad South Florida team. Or how UCF should have lost to Memphis (3-9). His stats in that game: 17/36; 160 yards; 0 TD 0 INT.

Those are two teams with a combined 5-19 record and he was 34/62 (55%) for 379 yards (6.11 YPA), 2 TDs and 2 INTs.

AND THEN you consider his silly throwing motion. Don't think this guy is taking earlier than the 4th round. He's like the very poor man's Joe Flacco. I guess that makes him a lesser version of David Gerrard.

    4th round? o_O

    He's a good QB. He'll be a 1st rounder no doubt.

Bortles is looking to be a top 5 pick at this point... probably don't have a shot at him.

He's a 4th Round or later talent. Doesn't mean a team won't pick him up earlier. It happens. The Titans picked a 5th+ round talent in the 1st round in 2011.

I like the guy. Anybody who plays like Andrew Luck should be worth consideration. We could now potentially have this guy, Manziel and Hundley fall to us at 11. I would like to have any of them.
