His name sounds like a pornstar
Really don't know if I can get behind a guy named Blake Bortles.
Sounds like a rookie Madden makes up, or someone from Harry Potter.
Didn't watch the game so can't comment on it, but my concern with Bortles is still that from what I have seen, he rarely throws deep and when he does he lacks accuracy.
I'm with you, i'd be happy with Bortles at 11, but I don't think he'll be there.
Bortles is a 65%+ passer for his career at UCF with YPA over 9 this year. His two picks last night - one was a WR not battling for a well thrown ball and the other was tipped. He's got size and he showed just enough mobility to be dangerous. I watch this guy and think Roethlisberger.
I don't think we go QB at 11, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing if this guy can be the next franchise QB.
I was impressed with Bortles. He had a great game in the Fiesta, had more speed than I thought he had. Looked to have good pocket movements and an NFL arm. He had a couple slip ups, might of been the turf, lots of players were slipping. With correct coaching, this guy could be the best QB in this draft. Some scouts actually think he has a chance to be #1.
If he was at #11, i'd take him. I doubt Munchak would, if another HC takes over - he'd be in play.
Kid is all upside but definitely needs to go to a team with a solid QB coach to teach this guy up. Munch and company would produce a lame duck QB outta the kid.
Also need to consider the talent around him as well. Besides the RB, not sure I saw another player on offense that would make it in the NFL.
Yeah i've seen Storm get some mid-round grades.
You aren't getting a free dinner.
