I got to change that, there was plenty of people mad at Kanye West. He was originally suppose to play around 8pm, but had them move it to a latter time (2:30am!), then didn't come out until 4:30am. He didn't explain why he was late, and stopped around 5:30 before a tiny crowd on the big stage, who boo'd him.

I had gone back to the tent after Pearl Jam's 3 hour set, and saw FU Kanye spray painted everywhere the next morning.

Kanye was probably icked out by the state of the Bonnarooians. He felt the ick factor would be low around 4ish.

People actually went to Bonnaroo just to see a rap artist?
It is for live music, not canned beats.

Here is a fun review from a blog comment:

Bonnaroo is for hippies, not hip-hop!

Way to be open minded. Where are these rules of bonnaroo that you seem to know so well?
Bonnaroo is a MUSIC festival. And maybe you are completely clueless as to what type of talent it takes to compose music, but admit that, rather than bashing it because you don't understand.

Kanye's a musical artist. Whether you like him, his "canned beats", or the genre.

If Bonnaroo is for hippies, maybe guys like chris rock, lewis black, and bands like pearl jam, metalica, and half the others should have been warned in advance.

I like that they have different types of music there. I never thought I liked hip-hop, but listened to some there that I really liked.
I don't like heavy metal, but I really enjoyed Metallica.
